Duties include managing crews, securing materials, developing and furthering relationships with customers, maintaining an open dialog with management, and contributing to the growth of the organization.

While experience in the built environment is a desirable quality, management experience is an absolute necessity. Extensive training will be provided for the right candidate who knows how to get the best out of a work-site and the people involved.

Looking for work in the Green Building field

I am looking for part time work in the the green building field. I realize that is very vague but I have varied interest and experience. My most recent employment was working for a building material salvage company in Seattle, WA. The majority of my work there was spent in the field salvaging material. I was responsible for initial contact with potential suppliers clear through to the end of the project. I managed 3-5 people doing different aspects of salvage work on site. I also spent a large portion of time working in the retail store, performing customer service as well as merchandising.

I have a decent amount of construction experience as well. My father had a remodeling company that I worked at of and on for many years. I also did a fair amount of remodeling to our house in Seattle, from gutting completely redoing a bath to installing floating Marmolium.

I am interested in all aspects of green building, from salvage/deconstruction, building, to design and concept.
